Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ClauseAudit (the "Service", at clauseaudit.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is

ClauseAudit uses artificial intelligence to review contracts and produce a risk summary, flagged clauses, explanations, and downloadable reports. It is an informational and risk-education tool only.

3. Not legal advice

ClauseAudit is not a law firm, is not a substitute for an attorney, and does not provide legal advice. No attorney–client relationship is created. AI output may be incomplete or incorrect. Always consult a qualified attorney before signing any contract or making a legal decision.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

5. Plans, billing & credits

Paid plans grant a number of contract reviews ("credits"). Each review covers up to 35 pages; additional pages consume extra credits or incur an overage charge as described on the Pricing page. Monthly plans renew each month and the annual plan is valid for one year, unless cancelled. Prices may change with notice; changes do not affect the current paid term.

6. Refunds & cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: uploading content you have no right to submit; attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service; reselling output as legal advice; or using it for unlawful purposes.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of contracts you upload and the analysis output for your use. The Service, its software, and branding remain our property.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClauseAudit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on the output. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.
