• Account info — your email, and optionally your name and company.
• Contract content — files or text you submit for analysis, and the resulting reports.
• Usage & billing — analyses run, credits used, plan, and payment records.

How we use it

To provide the analysis, maintain your account and history, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

AI processing & no training

Contract content is processed through the Anthropic API to generate your analysis. Your contracts are never used to train AI models. Optional "check current law" lookups send a state and topic (not your contract) to a web search.

Third parties

We rely on service providers including Anthropic (AI processing) and a payment processor (to handle subscriptions). They process data only as needed to provide their service.

Data retention & your choices

We retain your account and analysis history until you ask us to delete it. You can request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@clauseaudit.com. Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Cookies & security

We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
