No. ClauseAudit provides AI-generated information and risk education to help you understand a contract. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Always consult a qualified attorney before signing.

Your contracts are never used to train AI models. We process them through the Anthropic API under a zero-training guarantee. We store your analysis history so you can revisit it; you can request deletion at any time.

PDF, DOCX, and TXT files up to 32MB, pasted text, or a publicly shared Google Docs / Google Drive link. PDFs are read natively so tables, signatures, and layout are understood.

We use leading AI models with a contract-specific, state-aware workflow, and you can verify state law against live web sources with citations. No AI (or lawyer) is infallible, so treat the output as a strong first read and confirm anything you rely on with an attorney.

Each review covers up to 35 pages. On Starter, extra pages cost $7 per additional 35 pages. On multi-contract plans, a longer document uses an extra contract credit per additional 35 pages.

A general chatbot only does as well as your prompt and answers from memory. ClauseAudit runs a fixed, contract-specific workflow, injects your state’s laws (with optional live citations), handles very long contracts reliably, and gives you a structured, downloadable report you can bring to a lawyer.

You can stop using the service at any time. Refunds are handled manually — request one from your account page or email us, and we’ll review it. See our Refund Policy for details.

All 50 states plus DC. Each analyzer applies the most relevant federal and state law, and the lease analyzer includes state-specific deposit, entry-notice, and rent-control rules.
