How ClauseAudit works
From upload to a downloadable risk report in about a minute. Here's the full flow.
- 1
Create an account & pick a plan
Sign up with your email, then choose a plan on the Pricing page. Each plan includes a set number of contract reviews (each covers up to 35 pages).
- 2
Choose your analyzer and your state
Use the general analyzer or a specialized one (Employment, Freelance, NDA, SaaS, Lease). Select your US state so the analysis is tuned to your local laws.
- 3
Add your contract
Upload a PDF, DOCX, or TXT (up to 32MB), paste the text, or fetch a publicly shared Google Doc / Drive link. PDFs are read natively so tables and layout are understood.
- 4
AI reviews every clause
Large contracts are split into ~20-page sections, each analyzed and then combined into one report. You see live progress while it runs.
- 5
Review your results
Get an overall risk score (0–100), severity-ranked flagged clauses with plain-English explanations and negotiation tips, page citations, missing-clause checks, and a state-specific legal panel.
- 6
Download your report & redline
Export a polished PDF report, a Word (DOCX) redline with suggested replacement language, and a copy of your original file.
Credits & page limits
- • Each review covers up to 35 pages.
- • On the Starter plan, extra pages are billed at $7 per additional 35 pages.
- • On multi-contract plans, a longer document simply uses an extra contract credit per additional 35 pages.
- • Monthly plans renew each month; the Annual plan's reviews are valid for a full year.
